Older Adults

Research suggests that up to 1 in 4 people will experience depression or anxiety at some point in their lives, including older adults. We also know that roughly 15% of the 65+ generation will be struggling with mental health difficulties at any given time. However, only 1 in 3 older adults will go to the GP to seek support, instead, brushing it off as ‘feeling a bit blue’. Ageing brings it’s own difficulties, including loss, isolation, loneliness, health concerns, sleep difficulties, low mood and anxiety. We are here to provide help and support and are able to offer advice and suggestions to deal with these issues and more.
